This health system facility provides specialized hematology and oncology services through an established ambulatory care program. The facility maintains modern equipment and protocols for comprehensive outpatient cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery. The medical center coordinates care between ambulatory and inpatient services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

New Hampshire offers diverse outdoor activities including hiking trails at Mount Monadnock with fall foliage viewing opportunities and water activities on Squam Lake such as boat tours, swimming, and kayaking. Visitors can explore natural attractions like Flume Gorge and polar caves, along with historical experiences including WW2 small arms demonstrations and colonial flintlock musket activities. The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive ambulatory hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM managing 12-16 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include prescribing home and ambulatory chemotherapy, biotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. The clinician will perform ambulatory bone marrow biopsies using local anesthetic and provide phone consultation during clinic hours to hospitalists and emergency department clinicians with occasional inpatient consultation comprising less than 5% of the workload. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required for this position.
