Hematology/Oncology Hospital Based job located in North Dakota

Facility is seeking Locum BC/BE Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage starting June 16, 2025
- Contract Length: Minimum 6 months or locums to perm
- Amount of coverage needed per month: 2-3 weeks per month with call rotation
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p; night and weekend call rotation
- Support staff: nurses, NP, therapists, support groups, developing triage nurse center, robust hospitalist program, imaging center is adjacent to the cancer center
- Patients per day: varies; 10-15 new consults per week, 30-35 patients in infusion center per day, 50% of those are chemo, 18 bay infusion center with a couple of private rooms
- Patient population/age: 18+
- EMR: Cerner - use Aria platform (Aria - combine radiation, medical and surgical oncology information into a complete EMR that helps manage the patients entire journey)
- Skills required: chemotherapy, biologic therapy, hormone therapy. They do have a diverse population of cancers in their community so someone who has experience with many types would be highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years experience and prior locum experience required
- Required: ND license or IMLC, BLS, DEA
