A Cancer Center attached to the hospital is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Akron, Ohio, visit the Akron Zoo, Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, or the Akron Art Museum!
This inpatient Hematology/Oncology opportunity offers a 50/50 split between Hematology and Oncology with an average census of 810 patients per day. Call is required from Friday evening through Monday at 7am, rotating every fifth week. The provider will join a team of other Hem/Oncs and a full support staff. Epic EMR is used. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required at a minimum. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days, and while an active Ohio license is preferred, the facility is open to licensing through the IMLC.
