This cancer center operates connected to the hospital providing specialized hematology and oncology services. The facility maintains established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery with coordinated care between clinic, inpatient, and infusion settings. Hospital privileges are required with a 60-day credentialing timeframe though temporary privileges are available for this position.

Ohio features diverse attractions spanning entertainment, education, and natural recreation. The state encompasses major destinations including Cedar Point amusement park, the National Museum of the US Air Force, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which offers cycling and walking opportunities along the Ohio and Erie Canal between Cleveland and Akron. Additional notable locations include the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, Great American Ball Park, and Hocking Hills State Park, providing visitors with options ranging from specialty museums and walking tours to river cruises along the Ohio River.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care managing 10-14 patients daily Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM working 3-4 weeks per month with 4 days per week. Clinical responsibilities include clinic visits, inpatient rounding, and infusion services with 1:4 call coverage. Clinicians must maintain documentation through Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
