Hematology/Oncology Hospital Based job located in Pennsylvania

Hospital is seeking Locum BC/BE Hematology/Oncology physician to provide coverage starting July 27th, 2026
- Assignment Length: Ongoing – minimum 6-month commitment
- No specific dates required – ongoing need
- Full-time coverage needed
- 5 clinic days per week, day schedule, 8-hour shifts
- Established patient panel already in place
- Clinic starts at 8:00 AM, first patient scheduled at 8:15/8:30 AM, last patient scheduled at 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch included)
- Weekend coverage: 2 weekends/month
- Night call: 10 days/month
- Call rotation: 1:2
- Call type: Inpatient + phone call coverage
- Weeknight Call: 4:15 PM – 8:00 AM 
- Typically 2–3 patient calls between 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Rarely receive calls after 9:00 PM
- Covers ER and hospital team
- Weekend Call: 24-hour call coverage, Includes 2 hours gratis rounding on Saturday/Sunday
- Admissions: Consulting service only, hospitalists manage admissions
- Patient Population: Adult
- Rural community setting
- Average 15 patients/day
- 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
- Provider expected to see: Solid tumor oncology, Benign hematology, Malignant hematology
- Infusion & Treatment: 14-chair infusion center onsite, 2-bed infusion room
- Oncology-certified nursing staff
- Radiation Oncology located onsite
- Practice Setting: Clinic + Hospital
- EMR: EPIC
- Support Structure:1.3 Hem/Onc physicians onsite, 3 APPs, onsite pharmacist support
- Participation in disease-specific and general tumor boards
- Required: PA license or IMLC, DEA, NPDB self query
