This cancer center operates at the hospital providing specialized hematology and oncology services. The facility maintains modern equipment and established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery. The center utilizes collaborative care approach with support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Clinicians will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care with some inpatient consultations during day shifts Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Clinical responsibilities include managing 12-15 patients per day, conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating care with one advanced practitioner and one radiation oncologist. Documentation must be maintained through EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities. Board certification in Medical Oncology and Texas licensure are mandatory requirements for this assignment with no call responsibilities required.
