This cancer center operates next door to the hospital providing specialized hematology and oncology services. The facility maintains established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery with coordinated care between the cancer center and adjacent hospital services.

This area features diverse attractions including the River Walk, major sports venues like AT&T Stadium and American Airlines Center, and outdoor recreation opportunities along rivers and in the hill country. Visitors can access wineries, barbecue establishments, natural springs like Barton Springs, and coastal areas for water activities. The region offers activities ranging from museum visits and historic tours to hiking, camping, and water sports at local lakes and beaches.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call coverage responsibilities. Clinical duties include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing 10-12 patients per day with ongoing care for patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions. Clinicians will work in the outpatient setting with established treatment protocols.
