The position is located at a community health center that operates as part of a larger health group. The Cancer Center features 7 infusion chairs with on-site chemotherapy mixing capabilities and infusion services available 5 days per week. Full laboratory services are available on-site for all patient care needs.

This region of Washington features Olympic National Park as a central attraction, offering diverse natural landscapes including the Hoh Rain Forest, Lake Crescent, and coastal destinations like Ruby Beach and Rialto Beach. The area provides access to scenic waterfalls and outdoor recreational opportunities throughout the park system, with varied ecosystems and coastal areas available for exploration.

The nurse practitioner will provide general hematology and oncology care in an outpatient clinic setting, working 3 days per week with 8-hour shifts. Daily responsibilities include managing 12-16 patients and utilizing the Cerner EMR system for documentation and treatment planning. Hospital privileges are required within 60 days of start date, with temporary privileges available during the credentialing process. The role requires board certification and prescriptive authority, with no call or weekend obligations.
