The facility operates a comprehensive Cancer Center located within a hospital setting. The center provides integrated oncology services with a focus on delivering coordinated cancer care. The facility maintains modern treatment capabilities and works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team approach.

This area offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities centered around natural attractions and adventure activities. Popular destinations include state parks, scenic bridges, ski resorts, and national parks providing hiking trails with scenic views, mountain coasters, whitewater rafting, via ferrata trekking, and skiing opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.

The hematologist/oncologist will provide comprehensive cancer care through both clinic and inpatient services, managing approximately 14 patients per day including new consultations and follow-up appointments. The clinician will maintain a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with participation in a 1:5 call rotation. Board certification in Medical Oncology is required, and the clinician must be willing to obtain West Virginia licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact. The position requires collaboration with medical oncology physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and nursing staff while utilizing the Cerner EMR system.
