The facility operates with the Cerner EMR system and maintains modern medical equipment to support quality patient care. The hospital seeks coverage for a vacancy in their palliative care department with credentialing requiring 60-90 days and emergency privileges available for qualified candidates.

The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient palliative care consultations for adult patients and supervise a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. The schedule includes Monday through Friday coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM with no call obligations or holiday requirements. Daily responsibilities involve evaluating 2-3 new palliative care consultations and conducting follow-up assessments on 2-3 existing patients. Documentation must be completed using the Cerner EMR system while maintaining Board Certification and Fellowship training in Palliative Care with recent experience within the past 12 months.
