Hospice & Palliative Care Physician Locums Job in Savannah, Georgia

Position Overview:
Client is seeking a qualified locum tenens physician to provide coverage in both Hospice and Palliative Care settings, with a primary focus on Palliative Care. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a well-established program.

Details/Requirements:
--Location: Savannah, Georgia
--Start Date: ASAP through approximately September
--Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
--Active Georgia medical license
--Board Certified (BC) or truly Board Eligible (BE)

Hospice Care Responsibilities:
--6-bed inpatient unit
--Patient load: 6–10 patients per day
--Work split: ~50% clinical / 50% administrative
--Night & weekend call: 1 in 3 rotation
--Minimal home care call responsibilities
--EMR: Matrix

Palliative Care Responsibilities:
--Primary coverage need
--Patient load: ~8 patients per day
--Reduced administrative burden compared to hospice
--APP support provided (supervision required)
--EMR systems: SmartMD (in-house), Meditech, and Epic
