Hospice and Palliative Care Hospital Based job located in Michigan

Medical Center is seeking Locum Palliative Medicine physician to provide coverage
- Intermittent dates of coverage: March 3 - 9th, March 17 - 23rd, March 31 - April 6th, April 14 - 20th, April 28 - May 4th
- 7-on, 7-off schedule, beginning Tuesday 8 AM through the following Tuesday 8 AM. 7-on schedule requires 24-hour call coverage of hospice service. The full 7-day stretch may be flexible (fewer days in a row) based on availability.
- Simultaneous coverage and physician oversight of three services: Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consult Service, and outpatient Palliative Medicine Clinic Practice, and home-based Hospice Care service.
- On Call Requirements:    24-hour call, 7 days in-a-row, Average number of calls/pages between 7PM and 7AM is one. Average number of calls/pages between 7AM and 7PM is 10.
- Average inpatient consult service census is 12-18 patients. Patients are split between physician and an advance practice providers on the inpatient service.
- EMR: Cerner
- Required: Active MI license, BLS, board certification in Hospice/Palliative Medicine
