Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.

- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

- Conduct daily patient assessments, document medical histories, and update treatment progress.

- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.

- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.

- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

- Valid Alabama state medical license.

- Proven experience in inpatient medicine or hospitalist role preferred.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
