Job Description
(Login for Information) is seeking an experienced advanced practice clinician (nurse practitioner or physician assistant) to join our busy outpatient Internal Medicine clinic in Colton, California. This is a full-time, primary care-focused role within an academic medical environment serving a diverse patient population.
The APC will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services and will work closely with faculty attending physicians. This role offers strong clinical support, with readily available physician supervision and backup for clinical questions, complex cases, and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient primary care to adult patients in an internal medicine setting
- Conduct patient evaluations, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide preventive care and health maintenance counseling
- Collaborate closely with faculty attending physicians, residents, and multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives as appropriate
Qualifications
- Licensed NP/PA eligible to practice in California
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a primary care setting strongly preferred
- Experience in a California managed care and/or public hospital environment is highly desirable
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based, academic clinical environment
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and serving a diverse community
