Hospitalist opportunities in New Orleans

Our client in New Orleans is actively recruiting for full time permanent hospitalists. Unfortunately, this position does not offer visa sponsorship. Our client is needing internal medicine physicians that are BE/BC. The clinic is located on the West Bank of New Orleans, below is some brief information for your review.

Position Description/Responsibilities:

¨ Join 6 other employed Hospitalist

¨ 7 days on / 7 days off (7A - 7P shifts is the average time worked)

¨ Looking for an Internal Medicine Physician that will work ALL in an Inpatient Setting

¨ No codes, central lines or procedures

¨ Employed Position

¨ Ability to see 16-18 patients per day, cap is 22 patients per day and see 3-6 patients admits per night

Skills Needed:

· Comfort Level in the ICU

· Ability to admit patients

· Ability to discharge patients

· Consulting

· Document ALL charts / medical records

· Vent Management is a plus, but not required
