Hospitalist Single Specialty Group job located in Massachusetts

Join a team of 6 other inpatient specialists. This is an employed position through the hospital; the department is not operated by a separate identity. The work schedule consists of 5 days on w/5 days off; 12 hour shifts from 7am to 7pm. They have three 12 hour shifts during the day and one 12 hour night shift. They also have mid-level providers to help round & follow-up. Two nocturnists cover the vast majority of the night shifts. No procedures involved; however they do need to run codes. There is 24/7 intensivist, cardiology and general surgery back up. ACLS certification required. Local hospital offers a 24 hour Level III Trauma Center, Neo-Natal Care Center, birthing center, ICU, minor/major surgery, and updated imaging services like: CT, PET, PACS, Ultrasound, Mammography, and a computer-aided detection system for breast imaging. This area has an enormous wealth of visual, performing, cultural and literary art resources.
