Hospitalist Physician Locums Job in Michigan | 12-Hour Night Call | Beginning July 16 - Ongoing | Assignment #115737

Coverage Details
-- Onsite orientation required one day prior (July 15 at 8:30 AM)
-- July 16 – July 20
-- August 6 – August 10
-- August 28 - August 31
-- Credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Shift Description
-- 12-hour In-House Night Call shifts, 7P – 7A
-- Must be within 20 minutes response time for admits and calls
-- Call coverage includes admissions, ICU admits within 2 hours, and acute patient status changes
-- Average Call # per shift: 3 phone consults. 2 patients seen, 2 admissions
-- Call Ratio: 50%

Requirements
-- Board Certification
-- Active MI license
-- Active MI controlled substance license
-- Active MI DEA
-- ACLS
-- BLS

Assignment Details
-- Available Support Services: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response Time, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, Vascular Surgery
-- Average inpatient census of 15
-- Average admits per night: 2
-- RN support staff: 4
-- Trauma Level 3
-- EMR: Meditech
