Hospitalist Nocturnist opportunity in Dover, OH

Excellent opportunity to join a closely knit, established team of six physicians and two advanced practice providers (APPs), supported by a clinical performance nurse. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Position Highlights:

  • We staff two physicians and one APP per day shift (7 am—7 pm) and one physician on nights (7 pm—am), and we help cover for our teammates when needed.
  • We are directly involved in many committees, including sepsis, code blue, stroke, etc.
  • We work closely with nurses for our specialized Plan of Care visits and have daily multidisciplinary rounds with case managers, nurses, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy.
  • We put patients first. Always.
  • We strive to deliver “better” to our community—better care, better collaboration, and a heartfelt dedication to those we serve.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.
  • We work in an open 10-bed low-acuity ICU with additional intensivist coverage during the day.
  • Our team is expected to be able to perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubation, respond to rapid responses, and run CODE BLUEs.
  • We proudly sponsor H1B and J1 visa candidates, and have excellent in-house visa specialists, licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered by our organization.

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 401k with matching contributions.
  • Paid malpractice insurance, including tail coverage.
