Nocturnist Physician Locums Job in Ohio | 7 on/7 off | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #114959

Coverage Details
-- 12-hour night shifts, 7pm–7am
-- 7 on / 7 off scheduling model
-- 14 shifts per month
-- Assignment duration: 6–9 months
-- Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days (temporary privileges available)

Requirements
-- Board Certified Internal Medicine
-- Ohio medical license
-- Residency
-- DEA
-- ACLS
-- BLS
-- Clean malpractice history – Highly Preferred

Assignment Details
-- Hospitalist nocturnist coverage at an academic facility
-- Average of 8 admissions per night
-- Responsibilities include rounding on patients, admissions, rapid responses, and handling floor issues
-- Teaching residents is preferred but not required
-- ICU/CVU managed by intensivists
-- Support staff: Internal medicine residents on night shift
-- Reason for coverage: Employed nocturnist transitioned to day shift after accepting an APD role in medical education
-- EMR: Meditech
