Job Description
(Login for Information) is seeking a full-time academic hospitalist to join our team at Nashville General Hospital in Nashville, TN. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, intellectually stimulating environment with a strong emphasis on teaching family medicine residents, quality improvement and scholarly activity.

Opportunity Overview:
- Faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor with Meharry Medical College
- Clinical responsibilities include inpatient care on family medicine teaching service
- Ability to implement quality improvements
- Flexible 7 on/7 off schedule

Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board-certified in family medicine (cannot consider IM or other board certifications as this is a family medicine residency program)
- Recent hospitalist experience is required (cannot accept new grads for this position)
- Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine
