Job Description

PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN (Internal Medciine)

One of the largest groups in the Valley is seeking PRIMARY CARE physicians to work in their 20 offices located throughout metropolitan Phoenix area. Many are equipped with several medical specialists under one roof, so referrals or additional diagnostic needs can be quickly obtained. The physician will provide primary care to patients deemed to fall within the scope of practice of Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. They will Diagnose and treats patients for disorders on a general level, without restriction to special systems or regions of the body; they serve as the general practitioner to patients for general diagnostic and therapeutic medical care.

The physicians are at the frontline of delivering their mission, by providing high quality patient care when it’s needed most. They take a more holistic approach to healthcare and well-being, which includes innovative preventive care services, health improvement programs, as well as cutting-edge healthcare treatments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. This position is responsible for providing excellent care to patients in an outpatient clinical setting.

2. This is specifically for adult medicine and geriatric medicine.

3. The incumbent must be effective in unifying the business, operational, support and clinical arms into a cohesive team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

MD or DO Degree

Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (new grads welcome)

Active and unrestricted AZ medical license

Outpatient practice experience, preferred

Proficient computer skills - MS Office Products (Word/Excel) and Electronic Health Records systems

Demonstrates flexibility

Displays excellent/compassionate communication skills with staff and patients

Epic experience, a plus – not required
