As a full-time Primary Care Physician at the Santa Maria VA Community-Based Clinic you'll provide primary and acute care services in an outpatient setting, managing acute illnesses and chronic diseases. Responsibilities include delivering preventive health care and providing same-day care to veteran patients. Additionally, you will be involved in administrative duties, patient management, and the maintenance of treatment records. Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members and community agencies are essential to this role. Your role will also include participating in quality assurance projects and supporting VA mission initiatives.

Santa Maria, CA, situated on the picturesque Central Coast, is known for its favorable climate, rich agricultural heritage, and vibrant wine country. The city offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and exploring nearby beaches. Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent
  • Board Certified/Eligible
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted license

Benefits and Features:  

  • Starting salary $265,000 – $300,000 (Negotiable)
  • PTO: 50–55 days of PTO annually (26/13 days of annual/sick leave, 11 holidays)
