Seeking an innovative and collaborative BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician with a demonstrated interest in academic medicine and resident teaching in central Connecticut.Opportunity Highlights: Report to the Chair of Department of Medicine and the Program Director of the UConn Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program. Medical Director will provide oversight, administration, and management of physician, medical residents, medical students, and provider staff in the Outpatient Clinic. Position will be core faculty in the PCIM residency program and be involved in curriculum development. Position includes academic appointment at The University of CT School of Medicine. S/he will possess qualifications for academic appointment at the University of Connecticut (assistant professor level or higher), and an interest in faculty development, medical education, and research.
