The Internal Medicine clinic provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on resident education and training. The Internal Medicine physician will supervise resident clinics Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, managing 18-25 patients per half day with 5-6 learners per session. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters, examining patients jointly with residents and directly with interns from July through December, and providing constructive verbal feedback while completing written evaluations. The clinician will oversee inbox management, prescription requests, and administrative tasks while maintaining shared call coverage every third week. Internal Medicine training with primary care experience is required to support the precepting role effectively.
