Primary Care Physician Locums Job | Northern Orlando, Florida

General Summary:
Join a mission-driven team focused on senior care in Northern Orlando. We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time 3–6 month locum tenens assignment. Responsibilities:
--Deliver comprehensive primary care to adult patients only (18+)
--Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic and acute conditions
--Prescribe medications, order labs/imaging, and refer to specialists as needed
--Provide follow-up care and preventive health education
--Manage patients on controlled substances (e.g., anti-anxiety medications, benzodiazepines – not pain management)
--Use EMR (Epic) for documentation and coordination of care

Schedule & Assignment Details:
--Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM/8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
--Average 20 patients per day
-So-me complex cases expected, so flexibility in pace is valued
--No call requirements
--Start: ASAP, once credentialed
--Adults only (18+) – backfilling for an Internal Medicine provider, but Family Medicine physicians welcome
--Spanish-speaking is helpful, but not required
--Experience with controlled substances in a primary care setting
--Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus

Requirements:
--MD or DO from an accredited institution
--Active Florida medical license
--Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
--Minimum 1 year of experience in primary care, hospital, ER, or private practice
