Internal Medicine (Primary Care) Physician Locums Job in Gainesville, Florida

A leading academic health system in Florida is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician for an outpatient locum tenens assignment. 

Start Date: ASAP – ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day
EMR: EPIC
Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Clinical Responsibilities:
--Same-day and urgent visits
--Hospital follow-ups & transitions of care
--Chronic disease management
--Preventive care, wellness visits, and annual physicals
--Inbox and patient message management
