Position Summary

(Login for Information) is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered Physician to join our growing primary care team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based medical care while building long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients.
  • Perform routine physical examinations, annual wellness visits, and preventive health screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' medical history, examination findings, and diagnostic results.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results.
  • Prescribe medications and provide clear treatment instructions and education.
  • Promote preventive care, healthy lifestyle habits, and disease prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records within the electronic health record system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, value-based care programs, and population health management.
  • Stay current with medical advances, clinical guidelines, and best practices.

QualificationsRequired

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Active Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • DEA registration and controlled substance license
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred

  • Experience in outpatient primary care
  • Experience with preventive medicine and chronic disease management
  • Experience with Medicare, value-based care, RAF/HCC coding, and quality initiatives
  • Interest in leadership, practice growth, and quality improvement programs
