Job Description
A well-established healthcare system in Urbana, Illinois, is welcoming a fellowship-trained Geriatric Medicine physician to join a highly respected and collaborative geriatric care division composed of 5 Geriatricians, 9 APPs, and full-time nursing support.
Position Highlights:
- Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and ambulatory clinic coverage
- Support from 50 hospitalists, including a dedicated geriatric hospitalist for inpatient admissions
- Monday?Friday 8 a.m.?5 p.m. clinic schedule
- Opportunity for medical directorship and long-term care at an additional nursing home
- No home visits, assisted-living visits, hospice, or palliative care staffing requirements
- Part-time positions available
- Academic and research affiliation opportunities with the nation?s first engineering?based medical school
- Earn up to $315K based on experience, qualifications, and training.
