This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care to an adult patient population within a collaborative group setting.

Role Summary:

As an Internal Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based primary care services to adult patients. Your focus will be on diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive health, and coordinating care within a multi-specialty environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients.
• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases common in adult medicine.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on appropriate diagnostic tests and labs.
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
• Counsel patients on preventive health measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management.
• Collaborate effectively with specialists and other healthcare providers within the group and community.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Participate in practice-based quality improvement activities and adhere to clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (Required).
• Training: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program (Required).
• Certification: Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Internal Medicine (Required).
• License: Eligible for or possess an active, unrestricted New York State medical license and DEA registration (Required).
