Internal Medicine job located in Havertown, Pennsylvania

(Login for Information) is hiring a part-time (weekends - minimum 1 weekend per month) physician with experience in internal medicine to do rounding in a long-term acute care hospital in the Havertown, Pennsylvania, area. Key Responsibilities

• Perform internal medicine (IM) care in an LTACH setting
• Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
• Order and interpret lab results
• Prescribe and monitor medications
• Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
• Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
• Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes

Requirements

• 1+ years internal medicine experience required
• Direct LTACH experience a plus, but not required
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania license 
• Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania DEA with prescriptive authority
