Job Description
Do you have a passion for patient care and enjoy solving complex medical problems within an interdisciplinary medical team? (Login for Information) has the perfect opportunity for you. This is a part-time (10 days/month) primary care medical director role providing patient care in a post-acute care setting in a rural health clinic located in Alamo and Brownsville, Tennessee. One to two days a week you will provide oversite of NPs and two days a month you will provide clinical services. No call. This is a W2 part-time position. Clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30a to 4:30a and Friday from 7:30a to 11:30a.

The expected compensation is estimated $110 - $110 hourly with no cap on productivity income plus $4,500 monthly director stipend inclusive of both clinics.

The duties of the medical director will be as follows:
- Provide patient medical care as scheduled and according to contract
- Collaborate and supervise the clinic's advanced practice clinicians (e.g., nurse practitioners, physician assistants) in accordance with Tennessee state scope of practice and collaborative practice laws
- Organize, manage and lead the monthly clinician meeting in collaboration with the regional or national medical director to address clinical issues impacting the
- RHCs, provide education and advance clinic operations
- Conduct a quarterly review and feedback of APC's charts
- Participate in the annual review APCs performance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 year primary care experience
- Active and unrestricted Tennessee license or application in process
- Active and unrestricted DEA or application in process
