How will you make an impact & Requirements

Bastrop sits 30 miles southeast of Austin along the Colorado River — close enough to enjoy everything a major city offers, far enough to actually live well. Known as the "Heart of the Lost Pines," it's one of Central Texas's most charming and distinctive communities, and it's growing fast.

  • 30 miles from Austin — easy access to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (30 min)
  • Small-town community feel with big-city proximity — lower cost of living than Austin
  • Bastrop State Park & Lost Pines Forest: hiking, camping, biking & wildlife right outside your door
  • Colorado River outdoor recreation: kayaking, fishing, canoeing & paddleboarding
  • Vibrant downtown with the historic Bastrop Opera House, local restaurants, art galleries & breweries
  • Near Tesla Gigafactory & Circuit of the Americas — a region in rapid economic growth
  • Excellent schools and a tight-knit community ideal for raising a family
