Maternal Fetal Medicine Locums Job in New Jersey | March 2, 2026 – December 31, 2026 | Ongoing | Assignment #113022

Coverage Details
-- Schedule: 8AM – 5PM; Call 5PM – 8AM
-- On-Call: Yes
-- Providers may be scheduled at multiple locations and should be prepared to rotate between facilities

Shift Description
-- Potentially 5 days/week covering ATU and call coverage
-- Call includes onsite assistance in L&D for medically complex deliveries
-- Assist with complex deliveries and inpatient consults

Requirements
-- ABOG Board Certified
-- Experience in high-risk obstetrics and consultative services

Assignment Details
-- Interpret ultrasounds
-- Perform fetal diagnostic procedures
-- Provide consultations for:
-- Preterm labor
-- Hypertensive disorders
-- Diabetes
-- Placental abnormalities
-- Consult on medically complex deliveries
-- Offer call coverage onsite in Labor & Delivery
-- Supervise sonographers; collaborate with Ob/Gyn residents, fellows, and APPs
-- Volume: 130–150 scans/day; ~40 patients/day
-- Support staff: Nurses, ultrasound techs, MSAs
-- Works alongside MFM physicians, sonographers, genetic counselors
-- APN present (locums not part of collaborative agreement)
-- EMR: Epic; Viewpoint
