A hospital is seeking a maternal and fetal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in New York.
This Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) opportunity features a Monday through Friday clinic schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexible call requirements. The clinic sees approximately seven patients per day. The key skill required is the ability to read high-risk ultrasounds, which are completed by ultrasound techs. There are around 200 deliveries per month, though MFMs are not responsible for deliveries. Instead, laborists handle C-sections and midwives handle vaginal births. The MFMs primary responsibilities include consultations and ultrasound reads.
