Major/Essential Functions

• Provides patient care services in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Participates in scholarly activities in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in the area of Women's Health
• Participates in committees and other administrative duties
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
• Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
• Demonstrates Professionalism in accordance with Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Minimum Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited or RCPSC-accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Successful completion of an ACGME- or RCPSC-accredited fellowship program in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Texas medical license or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in clinical and/or basic biomedical science research
• Experience education of residents and/or medical students
• Board certification in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
