Maternal Fetal Medicine Locums Job in Virginia | Weekend Call + Clinic | Beginning ASAP – Ongoing | Assignment #113058

Shift Details
-- Spans between two practice sites
-- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM
-- Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM

Requirements
-- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
-- Fellowship
-- Virginia medical license
-- BLS
-- AIUM certification – Highly Preferred

Required Procedures/Skills
-- Amniocentesis
-- Chorionic Villus Sampling
-- Cerclage – Highly Preferred
-- Pre-Eclampsia management
-- Multiple Pregnancy management
-- Growth Restriction
-- Chromosomal Abnormalities
-- Congenital Abnormalities
-- Pre-term Labor
-- Hypertension
-- Thrombophilia
-- Genetic Disorders
-- Birth Defects
-- Vaginal Birth
-- Cesarean Birth
-- Management of any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that make pregnancy high risk

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Office and inpatient coverage
-- Average scheduled patients per day: 27
-- Number of physicians in practice: 1 per site
-- APP support: 1 NP rotating sites
-- Supervision: No supervision required 
-- Exam rooms: 3
-- Onsite ultrasound: Yes (GE 10)
-- Support staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team
-- Percentage of high-risk pregnancies: 95%
-- Percentage of low-risk pregnancies: 5%
-- Nursery level: III
-- EMR: EPIC, Viewpoint
-- Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
