The medical center operates as a 391-bed private, non-profit hospital serving Central Virginia residents with comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine services and advanced care capabilities. The clinician will provide comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine care including amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and management of high-risk pregnancies. Responsibilities include treating pre-eclampsia, multiple pregnancies, growth restriction, chromosomal abnormalities, and various maternal-fetal comorbidities with both inpatient and outpatient clinic coverage. The position requires nightly weekday call and 24-hour weekend coverage responsibilities. Board certification in Maternal & Fetal Medicine is mandatory for this assignment.
