Neonatal Medicine Physician Locums Job in Mississippi | 24-Hour Call | 3/16 - 3/18 | Assignment #113796

Coverage Needed: 3/16 – 3/18

Shift Description:
-- 24-Hour Call, 7am-7am
-- Call response time of 15 minutes

Requirements:
-- Board certified
-- Fellowship
-- Must be licensed in Mississippi or IMLC
-- PALS
-- Procedures/skills for Peds, Newborn and Neonatal: 
    -- Non-Invasive Ventilation Management (neo-puff)
    -- Acute and Chronic Vent Management 
    -- Newborn Intubation (ETT/NT)
    -- Central and Arterial Lines
    -- UVC, UAC
    -- Lumbar puncture
    -- Paracentesis
    -- Thoracentesis
    -- Chest tube insertion
    -- Needle pneumothorax, decompression
    -- X-ray interpretation
    -- EKG interpretation (PA Catheter)
    -- Suturing minor lacerations
    -- Exchange transfusions
    -- Hemodialysis catheter placement
    -- Attend High-Risk C-Sections

Assignment Details:
-- Nursery Level III/NICU
-- Average callback percentage is 10%
-- Support staff includes 2 RNs and 1 MA
-- EMR: Cerner
-- Temporary privileges available
