Neonatal Medicine Physician Locums Job in North Carolina | Beginning 8-18-2025 | Assignment #110012 

Coverage Needed: August 18, 2025 @ 7am - Ongoing

Shift description: Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support

Call Details:
--Call Type: Beeper
--Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
--Phone Consults: 7 per 24 hours
--Call Ratio: 1
--Patients Seen: up to 6 per 24 hours
--Admissions: 2 per 24 hours

Requirements:
--Board Certified
--BLS, NRP
--Active North Carolina license
--Clean Malpractice/NPDB
--Fellowship preferred

Required Procedures:
--Ventilation Management
--Invasive (ETT)
--Non-invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
--Use of nitric oxide (iNO)
--Chest tube insertion
--Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
--Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, and PA catheter
--Diagnostic/Therapeutic taps
--Lumbar puncture
--Paracentesis
--Thoracentesis
--Nursery Level II/NICU

Assignment Details:
--Temporary privileges available
--Inpatient Practice Setting 
--Level 2 nursery
--EMR system in clinic and Hospital: Paragon
--Support staff: Hospital staff and Market Director, Manager and Practice Manager will be available
--Patients Per Shift: 6
--Bed In Department: 6
--Rounding: all newborns/NICU
--Temporary privileges available
