Coverage Details
-- January 1, 2027 – Ongoing
-- One week of coverage, every other month
-- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Shift Details
-- Scheduled clinical hours plus call
-- Inpatient NICU coverage with concurrent outpatient clinic
-- On-call coverage required during scheduled coverage periods
-- Additional coverage needed approximately one week per month
-- Expectation is 8:00am – 4:00pm in-house when working
-- On-call response time: 20 minutes

Requirements
-- Board Certified
-- Fellowship required
-- Pennsylvania license or IMLC
-- ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

Assignment Details
-- Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient
-- Neonatal intensive care unit coverage with Level III NICU
-- NICU beds: 16 (can expand up to 20)
-- Average daily census: 9–11 infants
-- Average NICU admissions: 20 per month
-- Outpatient clinic: one day per week, up to 7 patients
-- Deliveries attended: High-risk only
-- EMR: Epic
-- Support staff: One full-time neonatologist and five in-house mid-levels available 24/7
-- Call is out-of-house when on coverage
-- Provider responsible for NICU rounds and call during working periods
-- Facility Trauma Level: 1
