Neonatology Hospital Based job located in Virginia

Medical Group is seeking Neonatologist to join and help lead a growing Level III NICU program 
- 7on/7off schedule (24-hour coverage with home call model)
- On call Requirements: Home call during assigned week (24 hours/day for 7 consecutive days)
- Attend and manage high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams 
- Deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9–11 patients 
- Work within an 8-bed Level III NICU and 10 LDR couplet care rooms 
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including:  2 Neonatologists, 4.5 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Nursing and respiratory therapy staff 
- Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory teams as patient acuity grows 
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols 
- Contribute to strategic growth and expansion of the NICU program 
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts 
- Maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and staff
