Nephrology Hospital Based job located in Kentucky

• BSN Required
• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
• Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for practicing medicine to include conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within physician –APRN collaborative agreement, the APRN exercises autonomy in medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services with no supervision requirement. The primary role is to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases.

Hopkins County offers the largest variety of outdoor recreation activities in Kentucky, including scenic trails, tranquil lakes, rolling grasslands and dense forests. Madisonville offers a variety of dining options, an amazing art theater and gallery that showcases regional and national art exhibits, multiple golf courses, and local boutiques for a truly southern shopping experience.
