Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Interventional Nephrologist to join our rapidly growing outpatient-based multispecialty practice which has been continuously operating in Northern Virginia since we opened our first office in 2011. In response to high referral demand, we now have four offices in the DMV.  The key characteristics of our practice include:

  • 100% clinical IN/VS/IR; each lab is fully equipped with 2-3 fluoroscopy rooms, pre/post recovery areas, ultrasound/noninvasive labs, and consultation offices
  • No Clinical Nephrology Requirement
  • A wide breadth of high-volume service lines including placement and removal of tunneled hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis catheters, angiography and balloon angioplasty for vascular access stenosis, endovascular stent, and coil placement for dialysis access dysfunction, thrombectomy procedures for clotted vascular access, and ultrasonography
  • Robust Vascular Surgery/Interventional Radiology program complementing and supporting IN growth.
  • A successful candidate will have the full support to run their own clinic and patient follow up

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school
  • Certification from ASDIN or equivalent organization
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Nephrology
  • 3+ years of IN experience is preferred
  • Valid medical license and ability to practice independently in Maryland and Virginia
