General Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Alabama | Seeking Coverage August 18 - 25 AM

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a Health System east of Montgomery, Alabama that needs Neurohospitalist locum tenens coverage this coming August. Look forward to having the opportunity to pick up 1-4 weeks of coverage per year (approximately 1 week/quarter) on an ongoing basis and having the first right of refusal for future dates the client needs assistance with. 

Dates of coverage needed:
--Monday, August 18 at 7AM - Monday, August 25 at 7AM 
--Will need to complete orientation/training the morning of your first shift 

Details for assignment #109867:
- Active Alabama medical license + DEA/CSR required (open to considering IMLC candidates but preference is for active licenses)
- Seeking candidates that are actively Board Certified
- 100% inpatient coverage, will work 8A-5P in the hospital during the weekdays while taking 24-hour call coverage Monday - Monday
- Inpatient Neurology duties include general neurology and acute stroke care 
- Must be comfortable/skilled with EEGs, EMGs & NCS
- Pending specific volume information but have been told it's a busy program 
- Several Neurologists + Advanced Practitioners on staff
- Can be granted privileges within ~4 weeks
- 275 + bed facility, designated trauma center, Cerner EMR
