Weekend Neurocritical Care Locums Job in Alabama | Seeking Weekend Coverage Each Week (Saturday/Sunday Only)

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a client in central Alabama that needs Neuro-Critical Care inpatient coverage each weekend of the month starting in early January + ongoing. We are looking for 1-2 Fellowship trained Neurologists to cover the collective 8-days/month of coverage (Sat AM - Monday AM) each month. ** This facility is also highly interested in candidates that are open to a locums to perm position (although this is not required).

Coverage need/Schedule:
* Seeking inpatient call coverage starting each Saturday morning at 7AM - Monday at 7AM
* Will be required to be in house on Saturday & Sunday from 7:30AM-5PM (cover call from the hotel after)
* Seeking a total of 8 days/month of coverage (Sat/Sun each week)

Details/Requirements for Assignment #112563:
» Seeking candidates that hold an Active Alabama license + CSR and/or candidates that are active with the IMLC
» Location: central Alabama
» Fellowship training in Neurocritical Care required 
» No mid-level help on weekends (will have a 2:1 nurse ratio)
» Average 18-20 patients per day (to include ER response and consults)
» Will be covering a 10+ bed NSICU + any Neuro consulted patients in other ICUs
» Required procedures: Bronchoscopy, central line placement, arterial line placement, intubations
» 300+ bed facility, designated trauma center, designated primary stroke center (mechanical thrombectomy capability), 24/7 Anesthesia support
