Neurohospitalist Locums Job in Alabama | 7 On, 7 Off Starting in June 2026

Jackson and Coker is partnered with a health system in central Alabama that needs Neurohospitalist inpatient coverage starting this June for approximately 2 weeks per month (7 on, 7 off) ongoing through December 2026. 

Dates of Coverage: 
* Seeking 2 weeks per month (have specific weeks that they will need)
* Shifts will be 7A - 7PM each day, no night or weekend call coverage required
* Will do inpatient rounding & consults at a total of 3 hospitals each day within the 12 hours

Details on facilities that you will cover between 7A-7P: 
1st stop: Will start morning at the smallest facility | Average daily volume: Between 6-8 PPD
2nd stop: Once complete at stop 1, will drive approximately 25 minutes to next facility |Average daily volume: 6-8 PPD
3rd stop: Will finish at the last + largest facility, 15 minutes from stop 2 | Average daily volume: 8-12 PPD 

Details/Requirements #115029:
-- Required: Active Alabama license & CSR/DEA
-- Board Certification required (will accept Board Eligible if within 2 years of training) 
-- Will be covering bread & butter, general Neurology service line only
-- NO procedures whatsoever 
-- Will be required to do inpatient rounding & consults at 3 facilities each day
-- Will work alongside of a minimum of 1-2 specialized Neurologists each day who also cover the same 3 facilities for IR/Stroke
-- Will primarily work at 1 location that operates as a certified stroke center, but will also need to round/see consults at other sister locations as needed 
-- Inpatient APP Support during the weekdays available at primary facility 
-- Will work from 7A - 7P each day, no night or weekend call coverage required
