Responsibilities include comprehensive patient evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing management of neurocritical conditions with support from medical assistants, nursing staff, and administrative personnel. The position requires board certification in neurocritical care and maintains prescriptive authority for optimal patient care delivery. While call coverage is preferred, it remains optional, allowing focused attention on critical care service excellence.
