A facility is seeking a neurologist for locum tenens coverage.

Jacksonville, Florida is filled with beaches and national parks for you to relax and unwind after a shift. The hot weather makes this a short-town almost all year-round.

The role begins with shift work starting December 8 and follows a 7-on/7-off rotation for a Neuro Hospitalist consult service. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible and available for both weekday and weekend coverage, averaging approximately 15 days per month. Responsibilities include consult coverage for the ED and medical floors, managing cases such as stroke, seizures, EEG interpretation, and other neurological conditions. The position requires EEG capability and involves hospitalist service support staff. Shifts are 24 hours, with 7a-7p on-site and 7p-7a on-call. The EMR systems are PatientKeeper and MediTech.
