The facility maintains a structured neurohospitalist coverage model with two physicians typically managing weekday volume and one providing weekend coverage. The locum neurologist will provide comprehensive inpatient neurology services during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing 12-18 patients per day, conducting new consultations, responding to stroke alerts, and performing daily rounds on assigned patients. The clinician will work within the facility's telestroke program framework and collaborate with the existing neurohospitalist team. Board certification in neurology is required, with no call obligations or APP supervision duties included in this assignment.
