This hospital is a 635-bed Level I trauma center operating a closed 117-bed ICU that includes 18 dedicated Neuro ICU beds. The facility maintains established neurocritical care protocols and utilizes EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management. Medical Critical Care team support and 24/7 anesthesia coverage are available to assist the neurocritical care service.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe neurocritical care physician will provide inpatient coverage in a closed Neuro ICU, managing a daily census of 10-18 adult patients and performing 2-3 admissions per day. Responsibilities include rounding and admissions within the Neuro ICU, along with required procedures and code response limited to the Neuro ICU. Day and night shift coverage is available, with shifts running 7:00 AM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM; no call is required outside of the worked shift. Board certification in Neurocritical Care is required, and candidates must hold an active Georgia medical license or be IMLC eligible.
